Slim Dot Dot Dot

Specially for its 15th birthday, designer Bertjan Pot gave the Slim table a complete makeover. He has used a 'marquetry technique' to realise the changes. This traditional woodworking technique has been given a modern twist for the Slim Dot Dot Dot. Marquetry is the manual application of veneer in order to create a decorative pattern. The little dots are cut from a sheet of fully coloured veneer using advanced laser machinery and are then laid into a sheet of another colour veneer by hand. The Slim Dot Dot Dot thus unites traditional craftsmanship and modern techniques. The new Slim table is less minimal but still looks incredibly sleek... 

Artwork

The Slim Dot Dot Dot is a unique object; a genuine artwork. The Special Edition is limited to just 25 items. Every table will be allocated a unique number label and issued with a special certificate that is signed by the designer himself.
