Bertjan Pot came up with this wooden bench as the counterpart to the Slim Table. Bertjan: ‘The idea behind it is a tree trunk that has been pared down to the very limit so it looks like the hull of a ship’. From a technical perspective, the construction is a masterpiece: the shape is built of wooden ‘ribs’ which are in turn covered with a layer of wood (oak). Leather handles add a special touch to the bench.
